Scholars and Mathematicians over the ages have categorically referred to the IChing as having 64 Hexagrams and yet with the Comber Compression Codex, Robert revealed The Lost Octave was in fact always there. Not as extra Hexagrams, but the true origin of 72 Hexagrams as Mirrors.
These Mirrors reside in the 8 Palindrome Hexagrams that through reductionist mathematics, the 72 were made redundant to 64. THE LOST OCTAVE ~ Super Partners
There are actually two main sequences to the IChing, one based on mathematical binary zero’s and one’s and another known as the King Wen sequence. The Binary sequence is a linear progressional cadence of Hexagrams from 1~64 or more-so, digitally from 0~63 in the conventional IChing.
The second sequence is based upon Yin Yang that The Lost Octave calls ‘ Super Partners ’. They are complimentary Hexagrams meaning that wherever there is a Yin line in one Hexagram in its compliment Hexagram opposite in the wheel there is a Yang line.
For example Hexagram 1 is all Yang Lines therefore its Super Partner is Hexagram 2 of all Yin Lines.
